Representative LaFonta is dedicated to his community, after Hurricane Katrina he made numerous trips to Washington, D.C., created many alliances to help in the recovery of our great city.  He wanted to ensure the people of District 96 had a voice in the rebuilding efforts.  He wants to be an anchor in the community to help families returning to the area. He continues the fight for all of his constituents in Baton Rouge during each session.
